Centra Homes has built hundreds of beautiful, affordable homes and created dozens of thriving communities in Minnesota. But what truly sets them apart from their competition is excellent customer service.
They understand that their clients can feel overwhelmed by the homebuilding process, and they work hard to alleviate this. They manage all the nitty-gritty details. Anticipate concerns and questions. Offer support and reassurance every step of the way. They make the process painless, so the client can simply enjoy watching the new home take shape.
The old Centra Homes website didn’t reflect the company’s outstanding customer care. The site suffered from internally focused language, outdated information and confusing navigation. With the website refresh, we needed to extend the company’s in-person customer care into the online space. Make visitors feel understood right away, and serve up the information they want and need.
I started by writing a content strategy that explored the concerns, needs and wants of the primary target audience: people wanting new homes. Once I understood what the audience cared about, I worked with Arrowplane to create an information architecture that reflected audience needs and wants. The last step was to write page content that balanced both user needs and the company’s goals.
